INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO GROW BEAN SPROUTS
STEP 1: PREPARE SEEDS AND PLANTING TOOLS
Seeds: Choose high-quality sprout seeds with a germination rate of >98%.
Planting tray: With drainage holes, about
3-5 cm deep.
Substrate: Use tissue paper, coconut fiber or cotton (sterilized).
Water spray bottle, dark cover, clean water.
STEP 2: PROCESSING AND SOAKING SEEDS
Wash the seeds with clean water to remove dust and impurities.
Soak the seeds in warm water (ratio 2 boiling: 3 cold) for about 4–6 hours depending on the type of seed.
Remove, rinse and drain.
Moisten the growing medium in the tray.
Spread the seeds evenly on the surface, do not let the seeds overlap.
Use a spray bottle to lightly mist to moisten again.
Cover the tray with a dark cloth or lid to create a dark environment to help the seeds germinate quickly.
STEP 4: CARE FOR SPROUTS
Place the tray in a cool place, away from direct sunlight.
Mist 2-3 times a day to keep moist and avoid waterlogging.
After 2-3 days, when the sprouts are about 2 cm tall, remove the cover to expose the plant to light, helping the sprouts to grow evenly.
STEP 5: HARVEST
After 3 - 5 days (or 7 days depending on the type of seed), the sprouts are 5–7 cm tall and can be harvested.
Use scissors to cut close to the base, wash gently with clean water.
Can be used immediately or stored in the refrigerator for 1–2 days.
